man, i was going to put big money on Rico because he was underdog on last fightn but I KNEW he was going to win.

I will not make that mistake this time. I hope Rigon "dodo" is 10-1 favorite because I am putting the house on Rico this time.

People think Rico was doing ****ty his last fight, but he was just nervous. Once he got composed, BAMM, one shot on the "champ" was out cold.

Ramos has a similar elite amateur pedigree 99-17 in the CA & US? He also was Jr Olympic Champ and alternate in last games before turning pro. Versus 200-4 facing mostly Cuban cab drivers for Rigo.

This is going to be a HUGE fight for Rico. When he gets pressed, he'll punch back hard. If he KO's this guy a STAR is born!

rico was getting dominated the whole fight until he landed that pucnh while the opponent was at an awkward position, it would take another miracle for him to win this fight

Rigo has not been really tested as a pro for everyone to be sure he will demolish Ramos. Sure Ramos didn't look great in spite of getting the ko win but he is a solid prospect(even if he is technically a world champ), has plenty of ability, is young, and will learn from experiences like his last fight.

Riga takes it with relative ease

There's just something about a guy who makes a point to let everyone know he don't like getting hit.

Not saying he's the only one who feels this ,aside from the rare breed who seem to enjoy that type of Masochism pleasure @ pain.

But if faced with a fight were he's taking some hard shots consistently will he really do what's necessary to get the victory

Does someone win two Olympic gold medals by beating "Cuban cab drivers"?

Boxrec and Wikipedia claim Rigondeaux's amateur record as "nearly 400 fights with twelve losses." Assuming your numbers are correct for Rico, there's just no comparison. "El Chacal" is routinely referred to as one of the greatest amateur boxers of all time.

But never mind all that...Guillermo, as a pro, looks more impressive than Ramos. With only eight professional fights under his belt, Rigo is starting to find his new style. Rico doesn't look any better with twenty pro wins.

Ramos was clearly losing his last fight. He landed one great shot to shock Shimoda out of his belt. That's not likely to happen to Rigo. I see "El Chacal" winning by KO...quite possibly by body-shot.

                    Quite the prediction....

What makes you think Rico is such a world beater that he'll "chin check" Rigondeuax and (I assume you mean) KO him? One well-placed shot, in an otherwise losing effort, against Shimoda? Ramos has 11 KOs in twenty fights. That's not exactly a fearsome KO percentage. Rigo's glove has touched the canvass (literally) in one pro fight.

"El Chacal" will school Ramos. Rico isn't ready for prime-time, his lucky shot against the Japanese champion not withstanding.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Rigondeaux dominates him(points wise) like Ramos last opponent did only to end up KO'd by Ramos. HAHAHA, the irony if that happened again. I guess we couldn't call it a fluke KO if he does it twice.
