Former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik sat down with the Youngstown Vindicator to further discuss his decision to withdraw from this weekend's fight with Darryl Cunningham, which was scheduled at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. Pavlik left a lot of hometown fans crying foul, and his promoter Top Rank, and televison network Showtime, lost money with the withdrawal.

Since when has Pavlik shown fight fans a pay to watch bout? His two fights with Taylor and a KO win over Miranda were entertaining, but his fights against Hopkins, Martinez and other bums were far from exciting. The guy was once a fighting pride of Youngstown, OH. Now he is the most infamous boxer Youngstown has ever produced. Have I said too much? If so, oh well.
