Chavez Jr has no excuse for continually fighting tricycle drivers. I mean how many more fights does he need before he takes an elite fighter. He should be fighting Sergio Martinez by now. Well hopefully these two (JCC and Canelo) will fight each other unless Chavez Jr needs another 100 tune up fights.

Yeah but doesn't Canelo have a huge advantage by having Marquez Mayweather onthe same card?

yeah, i think it's ****** for this to be happening. how about they fight some of the top 10 fighters in their division and whoever has their belt last can say is the better mexican. who gives a ***** about ratings if both guys are being pampered for the time being.

juan manuel marquez is a better fighter and sexier than both of them. he should be winning the ratings battle.

Chavez Jr. vs Ronald Hearns belongs on ESPN -- another 'showcase' fight for Alvarez vs. Gomez -- cut the hype!

                    Thats what I thought.

Last year when it was Alvarez-N'Dou vs. Chavez-Gomez/Wolak it was more even. Now it will be hard for Chavez Jr. to topple him in the ratings.
