Contrast in styles, classic matches= ALI-FRAZIER and Saddler-Pep (the latter had more than a trilogy, so, I wonder if they qualify. But, Willy was THE DEFENSIVE MASTER and Sandy was among the best in offense, both legal and not.)

Similarity in styles (or, nearly so)= Gatti-Ward and MAB-Erik

    Coming some time: Pacquio-Morales?

I would go with Morales/Barrera because it was most competative in all of the fights...

as pointed out earlier...Frazier (while clearly) barely won the first...but a clear win for him...Ali beat him more convincingly in the rematch...and their third fight was great and Ali won it...Ali seemed to have the edge throughout

Gatti/Ward...first fight, great...very very close...second fight very good but more one sided...third fight, great and close...but the skill level fought wasn't as great as the other two...

Morales/Barrera...natural rivals...real hatred...let their fists to the talking...the drama of both winning fights that the other should have won...first two seemingly could "go the other way"...the drama that unfolded between fights (Barrera beating Hamed, Morales looking ordinary - then Barrera being thrashed by Pacquiao and Morales looking spectacular)...then Barrera coming into their third fight seemingly there to lose and Morales feeling he was so far ahead of MAB...MAB pulling out another close victory...a trilogy of pride...fought at three different weight classes...cannot get much better than that...

Two heavyweight legends vs each other in Ali - Fraizer. Two Mexican legends vs each other in Barerra - Morales. Two sub-par sluggers beating each others brains out in Gatti - Ward.

Ali - Fraizer was the best. Not only was there heart, but there was a supreme amount of skill, and drama in those fights. From Ali getting floored by Fraizer, to Fraizer being admitted to the hospital, to all the jeering done from Ali and how Fraizer wanted to kill him. It's one of the greatest sports rivalries ever. The others just can't compare.

I'm probably alone in this, but I hated the Gatti-Ward trilogy. When I watch boxing, I like to see a boxing match, not two guys just throwing punches at each other, and using nothing but their faces to block. It was a great fight, but a terrible boxing match.

Barerra - Morales is good, too, but I didn't enjoy them as much as Ali - Fraizer.

Ya'll just wait for the third Corrales vs Castillo fight & thats gonna be a good one too!!
As for right now I pick MAB - Morales as the best trilogy out of those.
