    Who has the best trilogy?

    Gatti-Ward

    Barrera-Morales

    Ali-Frazier

To me, I think Gatti-Ward is the best because it was all about heart in those fights. I cant believe they didnt have any brain damages, well except Mick's peripheral vision. Un****ingbeleivable.

I'm gonna agree, each fight was so dramatic and just showed the amount of heart each of these worriors had. We need more fighters like these who can garantee their fans that they will give us some exciting fights.

i've never seen the ali-frazier trilogy though i read some on it. So i cant comment on it.

However between the other 2 its Morales vs Barrera.

Their fights were all heart, hate, passion, everything and brought a level of skill to which Ward and Gatti's trilogy simply dont match up.

Yes, agreed. I think one of them major reasons why boxing is not so popular anymore to normal(non-boxing fans) people is because when they see a boxing match, 90% of those matches that they will see are either boring, or no action at all and it makes boxing looks bad. I wish we had more fighters like them.

Well, I think Gatti-Ward I showed that Gatti can also box and he was good at it and he can definitely brawl too. I dont know, because I like to see blood in any fights so I like Gatti-Ward better because it was bloody.

Boxing wise, yes their fight was better b/c they wanted to show everyone who really is the best mexican boxer/puncher in their wieght devision, but as far as all out action gatti/ward take it. Not to say their was no action in the MAB/EM trilogy, it was full of it but gatti/ward was just something special.

I gotta say that Barrera - Morales is the best trilogy. Reason? Because of the tactics.
A heated slugfest between sluggers is always amazing to watch and the most dramatic BUT... a heated exchange, a trench war or a long range shooting war between two fighters who employ strategy/tactics like Barrera and Morales while throwing leather at each other is more spectacular to watch. It's also pure art when you watch tactical boxers engage in a war. The ease at which they switch styles --- defensive mode and offensive mode in the middle of a fight is exciting to watch. It's so easy to forget about defense when you are a participant in a slugfest. It's a give and take thing BUT it's more exciting to watch a smart give and take exchange.

                ali-frazier

as far as competitiveness goes its definitely barrera-morales trilogy.

the first 2 could have gone any way, and barrera clearly won the third fight but even it was only by 2 points at the most.

gatti-ward is 2 club fighters on the same level of bumness so it means nothing.

as far as improtance its definitely frazier-ali.

frazier won the first fight barely, ali dominated the rematch, and ali won the 3rd fight.
