Cotto, Adamek, Morales, Katsidis, Darchinyan, Agbeko, Johnson, and Froch are probably the epitome of an old school mentality in boxing where dudes didn't make excuses to not accept a certain fight.

Then there are guys who might think someone is dangerous but they will fight him because he's a cash cow and so on. Just because you fight top guys dont mean that you will fight anyone. There is alot that goes into it.

People said Margarito would fight anyone and he's a true warrior but when he beat Cotto, he didnt want any part of the Williams rematch until he could make some money 1st. Bradley was a guy who everyone said would fight anyone until now he see's a big pay day with Pac ahead and doesnt want to risk it against Khan.

People say Khan isnt scared to fight anyone but he just said he would only fight the EM-Mathyssee winner if EM won. He also would not take a WW tuneup against a guy like Berto before he fights Floyd. If he fights at WW, it will be against someone easier.

Thats why I dont buy all that "fight anyone" stuff. There are alot of things that come into play with that. Another thing is "losses". Youre more likely to fight someone tough if you already recently loss because its your only way to get back to the top.
            Perfect post.

you dont get it so let me spell it out for you

when you are owned by the mob it doesnt matter if you wanna duck someone

                they make you fight

do you think he wanted to go down from a "shadow punch"

no- therefore- a fighter can only duck when the decision is hhis to make

do you understand yet- or should i spell it out some more?

So, what you're saying is; the mob didn't duck anyone for Sonny, so, in turn, Sonny didn't duck anyone?

                  Thanks for clearing that up.

And Sonny Liston was very verbal about everyone he fought. He chased Patterson for years, openly chased him, and destoryed every single contender before that.

And when he beat him, he gave him an immediate rematch by his own accord.

And he wanted Ali, both times. So what you're saying is actually nonsense.

Fact of the matter is; Sonny Liston did not duck a single fighter in his entire career. So you're statment is simply false.

                  Next: Joe Louis.

So, who did Joe Louis duck?
