It all depends on how much Vitali has slowed down. Eventho it was only the first round, Solis was giving Vitali a few problems(I even had Solis winning the round before the "KO"), Adamek def has better movement than Solis BUT i still got Vitali 9 rounds to 3. Adamek has a very good chin. He took Arreola's blows.

Adamek wanted this clause, in fact his people are very happy with it. Adamek gets to fight Wlad, the clasue is mutually binding. If Adamek comes out and hes suddenly the terminator, and he knocks out Vitali in 1, Vitali has no rights to a rematch and Wlad cant face anyone else but Adamek. It was posed to these people that if they won a close decision would the rematch be with Vitali...they smiled and said no, we get wlad. Klitschko haters will act like this is shady tactics or something, but its what Adamek and his people want.

Vitali is going to destroy him. I like Adamek he was a really good Cruiser weight but in truth this fight coming up with Vitali is a bit of a mismatch.

If you're a warrior like Adamek, you see this as a good thing. Adamek thinks he's going to win and then he gets to unify all the titles against Wlad.

The only reason Haye didn't like this clause is because deep down he knew he was going to lose.

Exactly. If you think you're going to win, and Adamek does, then this is great. You take out Vitali and then get Wlad to unify all the titles.

I never could figure why Booth and Haye cried so much about that clause if they really believed what they said about beating both Klitschkos easily.

It makes no sense at all that a fighter would reject this clause in today's heavyweight landscaoe.

It's basically a guarantee of a 10 million dollar payday if you win the first fight. If you beat one Klitschko what other fight is out there that anyone would give half a **** about?

That is why Haye's whining about the clause never made sense. I wouldn't say that he knew he was going to lose, it was more likely he knew he would have to get very lucky and land 1 big punch to win and that he knew damn well the same strategy would never work against Vitali in a million years.

In short Haye's thought process was "If I get lucky I better hide cause there is no way im getting lucky twice plus I won't need the money so I can settle for fighting guys like Audley Harrison till I retire"

You're probably right. I just figured Haye thought he was losing anyway, so that clause was something he could make an issue out of and bellyache about to try to make the K-Bros look bad in the press. And it worked, to some degree, I must admit. If he really believed what he said about the brothers being so easy to beat, he should have welcomed the chance to lock them in contractually.

You've said more than you realise. Just think baout it. What is the best situation where a fighter can dream......Why, When he's ASLEEP of course.
