VERNON PARIS was a +300 dog.

I ask for peoples opinions on THIS site as well. After EVERY post I say "Thoughts?"
I would be an ABSOLUTE MORON to assume I know all the information at all times.
I pick as many minds as I possibly Can. I read as many previews and watch as many videos on fights as I can.
I'm EXTREMELY honest and open with my opinions on fights. I do this for the sole purpose of having someone else call me out before the fight and explain why I am wrong.
I have learned an incredible amount about betting on boxing from the guys here and from SBR.
The results speak for themselves. The picks you mentioned? I did NOT place a bet on Maidana over Morales, I did NOT place a bet on Williams over Martinez (As a matter of fact, I picked Martinez over Williams in the first fight when he was about a +400 dog as I recall. Also, I posted this in that SBR thread if you wanted proof "Final Prediction: Williams by Decision at +200. I probably WONT bet it though. To close of a call"). I placed a VERY small bet on Katsidis over Guerrero because I thought the bet had value. I lost virtually nothing.
I very frequently make picks that I don't bet on if I dont actually think there's a clear a choice or if I don't believe one of the options has value. I give up analyzing the fight when i realize its pointless, so a lot of picks of over the top or from out of no where.
My results speak for themselves. I've made a pretty substantial amount of money from practically nothing over the last few years, and this is from betting almost never over 100 bucks. Do you know how ridiculous your win precentage has to be to make that much money? I'm AT LEAST 75% on my 5dimes account, and thats pretty ****in impressive if I can say so myself.
Idk what I'm trying to prove to you right now and I shouldnt have to prove anything. I made a very innocent post about Vernon Paris, with none of these ulterior motives that your suggesting.
Sounds good to me.Comment

"Saying the same" and being able to back it up are two totally different things.
I'm not saying you don't pick winners. I just find it funny that you jump in immediately after the fight, patting yourself on the back about you're "glad you caught it" because "bookies are so ******". Yet, they weren't so ****** that you could call them out on it before the fight.Comment

I make picks that I almost ALWAYS announce on here. I don't bet on every prediction I make becuase that would be absurd. I'm sorry I dont keep all you guys informed but then again, why should I. This is the internet and both you and I are anonymous.
Also, I havent even mentioned anything about your little website although I'm just BURSTING to say something about the way you bet on boxing. I guess thats why you have people donate to you tho...Comment

Difference is.. everything I bet is documented. BEFORE the fights.

Like just this last few weeks when Dawson opened up at apparently +200. It quickly changed to -120 I believe. Thats a pretty big mistake, irregardless of whether or not Dawson ends up winning the fight.
I jumped in after this fight this one time because Vernon Paris, a guy I have been following for YEARS since I saw him on ESPN2, and if you search this website I've asked about his whereabouts for years, finally won a big fight when he was a +300 dog, and I was able to cash in on something I saw years ago.
I'm so sorry that I'm proud of a Great call I made that i was very nervous about, just So i could get a few pats on my back from some kids on the internet.
Wow, I'm such a monsterComment

I declare my bets pre fight.
Such as making it clear I had 2 grand on Wladimir Klitschko over David Haye at -190.
Nice win for me.
As for this one, I saw the line and stayed away. I couldn't bring myself to bet on Paris because he's a ****** muther****er.
I'm always open about my betting. I had $500 on Maidana over Khan by KO as it was paying +550. Took a lot of flack post fight from dirt poor British people who wanted me to feel ****** for losing what is a small amount of money for me. I'd make the same bet again in a heartbeat before I would lay money on Amir at 5-1 and pray that he lasts the distance.Last edited by Hitman932; 08-06-2011, 12:34 AM.Comment

If your gonna quote me do it correctly. I said the bookies can be very ****** sometimes. As in, there is very often massive errors in judgement.

You wouldn't make a thread patting yourself on the back for a pick that you "made", after the fight is over.
I mean, I'm not trying to be a prick to the guy... but c'mon. Attention whore a little less, Kball.Comment
