I watched a segment years ago on a broke ex filipino boxer who was a champ and loved in the ph, but now lived in a shed... Dirtpoor.
I think Pac gave him some money from time to time, but i may not remember it correctly.

Anyone remember this? If so, who was it.

Rolando Navarette, also a boxer from Pac's hometown of General Santos City. His title reign was actually short-lived, then he got convicted of **** and spent time in jail.

its more like floyd fans finding ways to make floyd "superior" to pac somehow. its pathetic.

pac gets ripped off by arum, whatever. he's still pretty well off and will probably live like a king in his country whether or not he leaves arum
When someone as big as Pacquiao is getting screwed over by Arum, it is normal for people to question why. Yeah, Pacquiao is making more money than he ever did in his whole life...but he could be making more. It's not about money. It's about people taking advantage of you, especially when this person is supposed to be your friend. When someone effs you up the assss, you're not supposed to bend over and take it with a smile. So although we are not worried about his financial well being, we do question his behavior.

I knew this years ago and anyone with half a brain shouldn't have expected anything else.

It's a win/win for PAC and Arum. The money PAC has gotten even if it's 10% of what his fights hve grossed over his careers more than enough for him to live like a king 5 lifes over in the Philippines. You gotta remember arums track record, he screws over every marquee fighter he gets his hands on. Remember how much Floyd made for the Zab fight? 750k I believe, and then he fights baldimore and clears 10 mill lol. PAC has only hung around this long because I hate to say it but he's not the brightest guy and lime I said he still making scads of money for someone who plans to live out his life in the Philippines.

Btw, wasn't arum once bffs with DON KING?

Much as I like Pavlik, he is just bitter.

Let's see who's going broke a year from now. Including Pac in the equation is ******. He's just a sore loser.

In any business transaction, both parties will naturally aim for what they believe is in their best interest. If one party is happy to get 70%, whereas the other party would have been happy getting even 20%, then it doesn't mean that the first party is getting screwed over if the second party got 30%.

When a person is already earning more than enough in his own opinion, at least, that would already be cause for happiness among sane people. The reason why many people are unhappy and discontented in today's society is because they look at what the other guy is getting rather than what they are receiving.

Pac is obviously a person who has no problems sharing his money with his poorer countrymen. Thus, it is far more likely that he is simply content to count his own blessings rather than ***** about how much Arum is making.

LOL ... Pacquiao is the face of Top Rank, not boxing.

If Pacquiao was the face of boxing, he would be the highest draw. He's not.

If boxing would be nothing without Pacquiao, he would have been relevant before fighting DLH. He wasn't.

If Pacquiao was special, it wouldn't have taken Mayweather to take off 2008 for Pacquiao to become a star. Let's face it Pacquiao was in no contention for being the #1 anything until Mayweather left boxing. Pacquiao's success is Mayweather's hand-me-downs.

If Pacquiao is such a big deal and the warrior you dream for him to be, he would have fought the best boxer already. Like most of you peasants, he's a coward and a fool.

And you know what they say: A fool and his money are soon parted!

I've said it before and I'm going to say it again:

Pacquiao has only stayed relevant because he avoided the best when they were the best. And when he steps into the ring with Mayweather, peasants worldwide will find that out. The only reason that anyone aside from peasants still cares about Pacquiao is because he's been careful enough to avoid top boxers and be shown for what all peasants are made of.

                      Its coming. Get ready.
