wow, did you hear castillo ask his doc. to do that? Showtime said his doc. was fired for that little stunt, by the way. Like I said, none of us were there, so all we can do is speculate. I cant believe that castillo would be ****** enough to think such a trick would even work, or that he'd lower himself to do it. So many keep insisting that he didnt care about the titles, and had no intention of making wt..if thats true, why bother to ask the doc. to mess with the scales?
He cant be blamed for everything after all.

      hmm

If you think that way then I can't believe you're a proper boxing fan...
LOL...that's classic. You telling what a "proper" boxing fan is. You hate on fighters just because you don't like their style. This is a problem you will never overcome and shows how limited you are if you wanna talk about being a "proper" boxing fan.

If you think 2 lbs difference equals a ONE PUNCH KO then maybe, I don't know...just maybe, you're not a proper boxing fan.

      Ugh.

he lost fair & square in an unfair fight, at which Diego was at a disadvantage.
I'm disapointed at jose luis "cas-Cheato".....he never even tried to make weight, thats why his "doctor" tried lifting the scale with his foot. another black eye for the sport of boxing. i'm surprised that the sportsbooks still took action on the fight, after it totally changed the make up of the fight....
castillo cheated, and i have no problem with that, but he got caught, and that makes it bad.....if you're going to cheat, don't get caught, and don't do it in front of, basically, the world and the commission.... i think that it was totally disrespectful to the fans, corrales, boxing, and the commission. even though they signed contracts agreeing to a different weight, castillo's win should have an asterick behind it, that or call it a disputed win, i know i dispute it.
to add to the chatter of castillo not making weight, i think that he'll wreck shop at 140 though, there isnt anyone who can fioght like him on the inside...not even hatton, castillo is a superior fighter on the inside....but still, he got caught cheating....read my sig.

So you're saying that JLC or his camp didn't know he wasn't going to make weight in the weeks leading up tp the fight? PLEASE!!!!! He had 5 MONTHS to prepare for the biggest fight of his life & he happens not to make weight. I don't buy it & it's obvious. Maybe JLC didn't know what his doc was doc was trying to do but he's mostly at fault for not making weight. intentionally not trying to force a rubber match.

            hmm

So...you mean to tell me that:
Some of you were sitting & waiting to see the two guys who gave us as great a fight we've seen, getting it on again...& you weren't excited because the bull**** belts (which we all rail against-always) weren't at stake ?
            Please.
Bingo. I smell the bull**** as much as you do, Jabs.

In fact, it reeks in here. Someone break out the Febreeze.

You actually have something to contribute or did you just post here to name-call, inflate your already over-inflated ego, and kiss ass to more respected members of the forum?

                1) I contribute more than most, and you should know this as a fact. He said something I totally agreed with so i let it be known.

                2) My ego may be big, but so what? I could say the same about you.

                3) Jabs is one of the most hated members on here so far as I know. But, if you respect him and I agree with him then what's wrong with that?

                4) What the hell is your problem? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Jesus...

he is definately to blame for not making wt...but I wont swear he didnt try; he's had trouble doing so in the past so I wont be so quick to accuse him of anything..not when it's been a known problem for a while.
What I dont get is how terrible such a thing is supposed to be when so many fighters fail to make wt. Fight after fight have been canceled because one of the fighters failed to make wt. But the fact that so many are going on and on over castillo not making wt. defiantely send a mess. of 'sore losers' (not referring to you specifically...the general fan base period) What he did (or didnt do actually) was wrong, and he was fined for it..just like anyone else would be. It's not the federal case some are making it out to be, and would probably be a non-issue if diego had won.

WTF??? No matta whatchu look at it, ta belts were supposed to be part of ta fight. CASUAL FANS SEE IT AS IMPORTANT and i believe there are mo casual fans than people that actually come to tis forum and try to be a smartass. It was supposed to be a championship fight no matta what and fans were expecting that. So it was important too!

Why is cheating weight BEING SUPORTED by ****in losers hurrr? So I guess the people that supports Castillo's weight cheating are cheaters themselves in real lives. LOL!!! Or maybe they gotta brag bout their predictions comin true. LOL!!!!!!!! Castillo= Cheater.
