I've had time to think... I've lost a lot of respect for Jose Luis Castillo

So what your saying is that every fight that does not involve an ABC title is a meaningless fight?

Belts are meaningless. Unless it has to do with the Ring Mazagine belt, which Castillo will own if he decides to go back to 135 pounds.

No not every fight is meaningless. But we thought we were paying for a championship fight. This was a championship fight, but with Castillo not making the weight, it became just a regular fight. That is the reason I think it turn into a meaningless fight. I don't want to make any excuse for Corrales, but I can see Corrales not being very motivated for this fight.

Now they want us to buy the third fight & I will not pay for the third fight.

No trilogy because they're nothing left to answer. I know who would win the third fight.

I agree. When they were advertising ta fight on TV, internet and on ta radio, they were always hypin " For ta WBO and WBC Championship of ta werld". It sounded like a very important fight! Witout ta belts, it seems like it was an elimination fight which IN MOSt CASES, woulnt have been on PPV! It lost a bit of imporatnce in ma opinion too!

Exactly. Everyone was excited for this fight & we all were gonna pay for it, no matter what. This fight should've not been a PPV fight period. The suckered us in. Castillo screwed the fans.

Hatton may walk into the ring at 153lbs the day after making the 140lb limit, but that's well within the rules... And the other fighter is doing exactly the same thing.

I think you're missing the point... Castillo didn't make the weight, and that gives him a larger advantage than people realise, because making the weight is all part of boxing preperation and it does handicap a fighter some what... But it's fair if the other fighter is doing exactly the same thing.
you are full of ****. Sure, you didn't say 'screw the rules', but you made it clear that a fighter getting injured was more of a concern than the rules, then after I pointed out Hatton does what Castillo did all the time on a larger level in terms of hurting the other fighter due to coming in much heavier than an opponent, you acted like rules was your number one priority once I brought up hatton, which it wasn't.

and, I think YOU'RE missing the point. You keep speaking about an advantage and castillo doesn't put on near as much weight as hatton on fight night, while hatton is the one doing that fighting string beans weighing like 14 lbs heavier. sure, it's within the rules, but that wasn't even your main concern in the first place..now that I brought up hatton you switch to making the rules the big issue...when does it end with you people..

i can't wait until hatton gets his ass kicked by mayweather or judah in the states.. then the brit population of this forum will likely die down for awhile, bringing up the overall quality of the forum.

I'm a castillo fan that doesnt feel the least bit screwed. I think the only fans that feel that way are the ones that cant accept the fact that diego cant handle castillo's power and lost cause he insisted on slugging it out with him.
To claim diego wasnt motivated is crazy..belt or no belt, NO fighter gets in the ring to lose, and I think diego knew he needed to prove to some that the little mouthpiece trick wasnt his saving, and instead he proved it was.
Diego isnt saying any of the things his fans are, yet he is the one that got ko'ed. Weird.. And some of you act like he didnt get paid either...all around a big contradiction on many levels.

So...you mean to tell me that:
Some of you were sitting & waiting to see the two guys who gave us as great a fight we've seen, getting it on again...& you weren't excited because the bull**** belts (which we all rail against-always) weren't at stake ?
                      Please.
