That's iffy. The fight was a while ago and since then Williams hasn't done anything at 154. he beat margy at 147, his fights at 154 were Cintron and Lara. Based on that, IMO margy gets the knod for 154 rankings.

Margarito struggled against an absolute noname in his one victory at 154 since his 147 campaign ended. He hasn't proven he can beat anybody at an elite level after the plaster in paris incident so he shouldn't be ranked above anybody in my mind.

Which is what makes it iffy. Personally i think cintron should have been ahead before he dove out of the ring and he lost against Lara.

Margy at least has that terrible lookign victory and then he has teh fight against Pacquiao which, given mannys rank p4p, wont look so bad to anyone. Lol.

IMO it's arguable. But regardless where you rank them, I think neither should be top 5 in the division right now and ranked with one another.

        EDIT -

On a side night. I think we can all agree Gomez isn't on anyones top 5 or 10.. hell maybe even 15 at 154, and Bundrage isn't either. That says a lot about these titles today.

margy did too. Margy beat garcia for a vacant little strap at 154 and williams beat verno phillips (i THINK).

Based on careers though. Williams has fought 'around' the 154 area for a while but only like 3 fights have landed there, simular to marg. IMO it's the same scenerio.. just with Williams having the better names on his 154 record and margy having Pacman on his. Give or take, honestly.

                  6. VanAss
What they should be ranked right now:

                  1. Cotto
                  2. Angulo
                  3. Canelo

                  5. Margarito

In terms of how good I think they are right now:

                  1. Margarito
                  2. Cotto
                  3. Angulo
                  4. Canelo
                  5. PW

                  (I refuse to rank VanAss)

margy hasn't looked good in how long? and when is the last time angulo had a fight?

These lists look like popularity contests

                      1 - Cotto
                      2 - Canelo

That is a given. Foreman was just dominatd by Wolak who is on the rise, he has an arguement. But until proven otherwise, 3 and 4 should be

                      3 - Lara
                      4 - Molina

and dizzy still hasn't lost at 154 yet

                      5 - Dizzy

THATS just keeping it 100 with whats going on in the division right now.
In a perfect world, martinez would still be the best at 154.. he still wants to fight there.

Then you've obviously got guys Like Vanes, Trout, Cintron and Smith sitting around. It's a much deeper division than people think.

Just going by recent performances though I'd say the lower half of the top 10 on MY list woul dprobably be

                      6 - margy
                      7 - Willams
                      8 - Vanes
9 and 10 will be decided by the Cintron/Smith winner.

Angulo isn't on my list because he's an inactive fighter still.
                      Just my opinion.
Who has Canelo beaten really, he is just a prospect with a pretend world title.
