After Maidana wins this fight, maybe Guerrero can make more excuses about losing claiming his opponent is on roids. Because we all know roids magically turn someone into a good boxer who can pile up rounds or KO their opponent. Thats his excuse for losing to Salido.

But the truth is Salido just has Guerrero's number, Guerrero doesn't like Salido's style of throwing awkward punches that you don't where their coming from next.

Maybe Guerrero can quit again if he gets a mild cut above his eyebrow.

I think Robert does what Ortiz were supposed to do. Remember Roberts fight against Katsidis???

The cut looks worse when you have someone prying it open with their fingers.

What the cut on the eyebrow looks like when someone isn't prying it open with their fingers.

Lets see other fighters who had worse than that who continued to fight on.

But then again, NEVER underrate the heart of Maidana.... When he came up from that bodyshot from Amir Khan, I were like WTF, cause that hurt like a *****!!! In the Ortiz fight, he also came up from some heavy shots!

This is a real tough fight for both but I've got Maidana by stoppage late in the fight, i just hope the fight will be as good as i think it will be.

My take on the fight is Guerrero could win on points but he doesn't have the punch power to keep Maidana honest and will be fighting on the back foot most of the night. He has the skills to do it.

Guerrero has had 1 stoppage since moving up to 130 - now he is going to 140 so I will be surprised if he can stop Maidana at 140. If Casamayor can drop Guerrero then I think it's not unreasonable to imagine Maidana stopping him at 140.

Guerrero to take the early and mid rounds and Maidana to dig deep and turn the tables towards the end of the fight.

Is Maidana Guerrero's best fighter he is going to face?, or has he fought better fighters in the past?.

The way some people on here are talking is as if this will not be Guerrero's toughest fight.

maidana by stoppage.......i see marcos busting up guerrero's face to a stoppage.....whether by quittage, corner or ref stoppage....
