he's really underrated among boxing fans. i can agree with "crude" and "sloppy brawler" to an extent but with the way some people talk about him, you'd think he's just some tomato can that loses to milk delivery men on a day to day.

Yea I know, even though I think he is crude at times, look at his resume. Khan went life and death with the man and barely escaped with his life, while Ortiz was straight up TKO'd. These are now the #1 and #2 guys at 140 and 147, respectively (Ortiz is underrated by some). I'd say that is pretty impressive.

Maidana is a straight up monster, his sheer determination to walk through your punches to land his own is astonishing. His footspeed is extremely under rated, as kevin kelley stated after sparring with him. People say he is a crap boxer yet he picked up a bronze medal in the world championships amatuers tournament! Now for what he lacks in speed and boxing skills he makes up with his remarkable recovery rate, one punch knockout power and most importantly his huge heart. I still can't believe how he got up from that body shot against khan. I also admire Guerrero's boxing skillset but I think taking this fight on his debut for 140lbs will be a step too far imo. Didn't he only just move up to lightweight a couple of fights ago? I think he's moving up weights too quickly against a fighter who is willing to walk through fire just to get off his own shots.

I literally can't wait for this fight. I have Maidana winning this fight by a late stoppage by tko, but I hope guerrero proves me wrong as I enjoy watching him fight.

Maidana dominates Guerrero for a points decision win but is robbed by the corrupt judges in boxing. How about that? The guy people think who is just a punching bag outpoints the so called skillful boxer.

maidana is a powerful puncher, but i think he gasses at times, and guerrero will take advantage of that. also, it's known he's a bit wide on his shots, he had some trouble with a fossil in morales, so i expect guerrero to really outbox him and possibly take the decision. it's going to be one hell of a fight, but i'm not too sure on the outcome, anything can happen with these guys imo. i'll be rooting for guerrero though, hopefully he gets the W, he's fully capable of it.

Maidana is gonna shock a lot of people. 20 mill on my boy Chino. Maidana's experience against world class fighters will also be a big advantage. He has fought stronger, faster and just as skilled fighters like Guerrero. Guerrero will bring nothing to the table that Maidana haven't seen before.

Maidana can't box to save his life and Robert's chin is pretty decent. I say the Ghost has what it takes to win 7 or 8 rounds against El Chino.
