who is the one proposing this weight at 150? Not once on that article does it say that Cotto has proposed this. it says "it is being proposing" (typo) which can be from either side.

If Cotto is defending his title then yes I believe this fight should be at 154 with no catchweight but what if its Margarito who is proposing this at 150? Then what are some of you guys going to say?

If he signs to fight Cotto at 150, he can't complain. Margarito has always looked one weight class higher than Cotto.

I agree, Marg is the bigger man no doubt and that's why 150 makes more sense for Cotto.

It's the same reason that Pac won't fight JMM at 135 or even 140 anymore.

Last time Marg fought at 150 he made it fine without a problem. And, his body didn't look drained or weakened at all.

Cotto last 2 fights has been at 154.

Why is everybody acting like the 150 would be in Cotto advantage?

This will make Cotto look even more like a bafoon if he can't beat Margarito with all the advantages he'll have when they fight in the rematch. Lol. He can't make 147 anymore, he knows this and so does the Cotto camp. That's why they want to fight at 150 and not 154.

If they fight at 150, it will be to Cotto's benefit by FAR.

That is a bunch of BS! He made a million excuses after the Mosley fight saying was weight drained and sick. The video he said all that crap was in spanish and I posted it back in 2009 in one of my other Animalisrtic profiles. Hell even Chicanita (Now MR. Fantastic) said it was a load of crap.

He didn't train for the Mosley fight though, and you could tell. Even if what you are saying is true, if Cotto is such a warrior, then why would he need a catch weight? Especially when you guys all bashed Pacquaio in the lead up to Cotto's fight with him, but now the tables are turned.

Hey I don't think 150 is ok or that I love catchweights but in this case it is more than ok because Margarito cheated Cotto by using loaded wraps so Cotto deserves any advantage he can get in that Ring.
