If Floyd would've been the one filing lawsuits and ducking blood tests, he'd be destroyed by the media. There is an outrageous amount of hypocrisy being displayed here by fans and journalists.Last edited by RespekonMyName; 08-04-2011, 11:14 PM.Comment

no, but wouldnt it have been a good fight and fully legit?! would it not be his best win at 147 if he would have fought him!!Comment

Sadly this is the case.
I'm done with hoping for this fight.
It ain't happening like IMDAZED said all along.
Looking forward to May vs Ortiz etc, and boycotting Pac's fights from here on out.Comment

Fair call, but that sounds exactly like the situation with Mosley.http://www .boxing news24.com/2008/02/cotto-wants-mayweather-to-stop-making-excuses/
Shane Mosley also turned down Mayweather twice back when Floyd was toeing the line, he then spent three years crying for his shot.
When Cotto was at 140, Bob Arum stated that he was not ready for Mayweather, and when he first moved to 147, Arum stated the same thing.
He could have been right, and likely was, but your blind assumption that Mayweather should have dropped whatever he was doing just because Cotto now felt "ready"..... does not wash as a "duck".
Let me pm GRUS, he has links/info that relate back to that situation, and can shed much more light on this subject than I can.
But I ask you, do you really think that Cotto could have beaten Mayweather ?Comment
