But I think it's more he knows that Butte will throw crazy angles out of no where, and he hasn't fought the level of boxers yet as Butte and more that he might not be ready! But at 160, he's got Pirog, Sturm, Golovkin and his boy JCC! LOL...So he's not really gonna have an easy time at his weight class either... Few more fights under Freddy I think kid will be ready...! War- Kid Chocolate!
Quillin walks around at 172-174 max! He has never weighed 180 in his life. I'm disturbed that he would make so much noise about fighting Martinez and not be willing to fight Bute. Maybe Kid Chocolate is not who I thought he was after all.

He is only ranked by the IBF at #6 and that is at Super Middleweight. To pass up this opportunity with a $1.35 million dollar purse on the table and a belt seems more like the cowardly lion from the Wizard of Oz than the King of the Jungle that Quillin claimed to be. He may just have to wear brown trunks with yellow stripes for his next fight to match the stripe on his spine.

I'm confused too! And I've been his #1 fan. This almost feels the way I felt when I discovered Iron Mike Tyson wasn't the fighter I thought he was.

Too much hype, not enough fight!

I hope management was the reason behind this. Quillin actually walks around in his 170's. He is listed as a Super Middleweight. It is only recently that he has campaigned for Middleweight. I think that may be due to Golden Boy Promotions lack of faith in its Golden Boy Danny Jacobs.

Pirog/Bute would be very interesting fight. . .
I think anyone can crumble Bute. That's why I can't believe Quillin didn't open the door to this opportunity knocking.

Quillin would probably be KO'd he is very inexperienced. It was smart for his team or him to turn it down.

Here , lots of poeples are talking against Bute. But kind of funny that anyone who as something to loose in boxing dont want to get in the ring with Bute.
Any reasons is good for them, Kessler, Pavlik and others. Jonhson wants to fight Bute, but him at 42 years old, what does he have to loose?

I just think that Bute, Froch are the best of the division for now.

A few years ago I could see Johnson, but not now after how he lost the last time, he was so lethargic...he'd take a beating vs Bute, what he doesn't want @ 42...

Who has Bute fought? He isn't even mentioned in the Super 6, EVER!

Oh wait, he did fight Jesse Brinkley and KO'd him in the 9th round.
Quillin also fought Brinkley; difference is poor Jesse didn't make it passed the 3rd round.

So please answer my question, who has boo-tay Bute fought?
