And he is 160 lbs, not 168 lbs so if he said no, he was smart but I think his management was the one that decided, maybe Chavez jr on the horizon for the 160 lbs WBC belt

opportunity knocks and quillin doesn't answer. . . smh. . . oh well, he'd get obliterated anyway. Johnson has the style to beat Bute - cramp him on the inside and blast his ass with straight rights and body shots. . . I think he can crumple Bute.

Pirog/Bute would be very interesting fight. . .

Guys, Golovkin even being mentioned is crazy. Golovkin himself said he comes in at his walking weight at fight night, which is 162 pounds. He doesn't dehydrate himself. Lucian Bute comes into the ring at 183-185, which is is practically light heavyweight. No way Golovkin will be able to overcome that weight difference, especially since Bute is a much better fighters since they last fought.

too bad sergio martinez is ***** - made, otherwise we could get a DREAM fight of speed, skill, and power. . . but no, sergio wants to call out the little guys and not challenge himself at higher weights. . . and people co-sign his ass for it. . .

We will see if Interbox is ready to take such a fight while a big fight against Kessler or the s6 winner looms in the horizon. I think that the percentile for Bute facing Johnson or a Quebec cabdriver is about 40/60.
stop putting Kessler's name out there, he had his chance, he turned it down, he wants none of that beating he would get

like Pavlik, he knows what's coming his way, so he will grab that WBO title, act like a champion and cry to get the super 6 winner

You make no sense man Kessler is the emeritus champ of the WBC so he is going to have a chance to face the super six winner regardless. Now what is better fighting Bute for peanuts in Canada and possibly losing a decision, or fighting Stieglitz picking up his WBO belt then having a chance to add on 2 more belts the WBA/WBC by fighting the S6 Champ who I think will be Andre Ward. Good rematch on neutral territory then the winner can fight Bute in an even bigger unification in 2012 for all the titles. Got to let things marinate for a while people too quick to rush things.
