The guy I saw against Kats looked like a p4p fighter. The guy i saw against Casamayor (I think) wasn't even close. Got to go with his latest fight.

Guerrero looked good against Katsidis. I liked his counter-punching. I think he is the favorite against Maidana for the WBA title based on their last performances especially.
I don't agree that he should be higher on the p4p than Khan if he beats maidana just because he beats him more convincingly. Styles make fights and Khan's always going to have trouble with big punching relentless fighters, how they look head to head is what counts. I think Khan beats him, I would love to see this fight which is why im rooting for Guerrero!

Who looks good against Casamayor?....nobody. Guerrero showed he can box if need be against Casamayor and can pull out win, boxing and jabbing. Everyone knows Guerrero is in a dangerous fight. How about giving him the credit for taking the fight with no tune up. That shows big balls and as a fan I appreciated Ghost fighting the best. We're going to see a real fight come August 27th. Win or lose both fighters got my courage vote!

Jose Armando Santa Cruz looked really great against Casamayor, should have won atleast 10 rounds and got ****ed by the judges.

Maidana is too limited to beat Guerrero IMO. He has a punchers chance, that's all i'm giving him. Anyone care to bet against Guerrero?

A win over Maidana only legitimizes Guerrero as an opponent for Khan, it doesn't put him above him in any sense, IMO. As another poster noted, Guerrero has looked too inconsistent.

Providing Guerrero can navigate Maidana successfully, I'd like to see Khan-Guerrero. I see the strength and pressure of Maidana possibly wearing down Guerrero, though.

I hope Guerrero looks pass Maidana as the fans do. I hope Guerrero is falling for his own hype that way Maidana can end this painfully for him.

The Ghost has good skill, but I don't know about his chin. This is a new weight class for him & Maidana is 1 of the strongest at 140. I'm not just talking in punching power, I'm talking physically. if the Ghost gets past Maidana, he's the real deal.

He has looked really determined and focused in recent fights so he looks like a man on a mission. Whether he will accomplish it is yet to be seen.

I love this fight. There will be a lot of action because The Ghost doesn't have a lot of footspeed and he doesn't use too much movement, hence we will see plenty of exchanges. That could also be his downfall.

Tough to call but I saw some things in the Katsidis and Escobedo fights which make me think Maidana has a good chance. I'm going with Maidana but not all that confident

Maidana is taller and has longer reach, he is also much bigger and stronger than Guerrero. Katsidis was able to hurt Guerrero when he got inside.

Macros is going to knock Guerrero out.
