Comments Thread For: Klitschko vs Wach Showdown in Play For November?

Alexander Dimitrenko would be a good choice:100% agree.
I think there is a bit of an overreaction going on here. Wach is big, has proven he has KO power, and given who else is available in November, has as good a shot as anyone at an upset.
The fact that the matchup makes good business sense is a big reason the fight will happen, if it does.
The other question is: who is the other fighter Wlad is talking to today?
Any guesses? Maybe Dimitrenko?
- he's in the Ring top 10
- he's ranked by all four sanctioning organizations
- he's taller than Wlad
- he has only one loss (by majority decision)
- he's more athletic than Wach
- he's coming off a KO win over a then-ranked contender
- his promoter Universum would be willing to make the fight, and has no problems negotiating with K-2 (remember the Klitschko-Chagaev fight was easily made).
Dimitrenko should cancel his fight with Spott and fight Wlad instead, if it's possible.Leave a comment:

Here we go again. Brainwashing other posters into thinking that this is a great fight for Wlad.100% agree.

Not meaning to intrude on a private quarrel, so apologies. But perhaps he means the comments on his mother he has just posted, as shown having come from you. What comments about your deceased mother? Show me a LINK to any such comment I've made in supposedly slandering your mother. You can't because there aren't any. Now I have alluded to you being a liar and making up stories for attention, that I will admit. Anything else you say is a lie, and we both know it because you don't have these links even though you have claimed this very thing has happened many times. Its been nice exposing you again, but you should really stop looking for sympathy and being an attention whore....it's not dignified.Leave a comment:

Yes I understand all these points. But Adamek at least has some solid achievements on the World Title stage rather than a just won, meaningless regional title. And he is not known for power at heavyweight, where weight alone can soak up punching power. This guy is basically a beginner who has fought nobody. Agreed that whether they fought in the US or in Poland they would pack the house, and other champions have done similiar things, but it could be at the risk of a huge backlash in public opinion after the completely one-sided fight. Klitschko would have to "carry" the guy and this would be noticed. Here's the reality.
Wach just brutally KO'd a guy that Adamek couldn't hurt, and even got knocked down by (it wasn't counted but should have been), back in April.
Adamek is now fighting Vitali, so many will think, why not have Wach fight Wlad? Wach's size at 6'8" also makes it interesting for those who want to see a Klitschko fight someone their own size.
Wlad wants to come back and fight in NYC. With the huge Polish fanbase in NJ, and the large East Euro fanbase in South Brooklyn, a Wlad-Wach fight makes economic sense. They could sell out Prudential Center in Newark, and maybe even MSG.
Arreola wants another warm-up and Fury isn't ready, Povetkin and Liakhovich are tied up.
Wach is 31, not 23 like Tyson Fury. If he gets the offer, he has to seriously consider that it might not come again.
So if Wach gets the offer and if it is generous enough, I think he'll take it.
Yes, it's true that this is likely a once-in-a-lifetime offer for Wach and I can see their reasoning in jumping to grab it. But I cannot see that Klitschko has anything to gain...except money.
The only thing for Klitschko do is to very publicly search for an opponent, Only then, could a fight with Wach be a logical outcome.
I recall the huge outcry when Floyd Patterson arranged to fight Pete Radmacher the Olympic Champ, who would be in his first pro fight. That stigma never really went away. Just like the recent smelly Haye performance will never leave Haye.Leave a comment:

Starting up again already?
I've never seen someone who just HAS to have the last word like you do.
You're a troll, and you're a damn moderator!
First time I've seen that.
Well, go right ahead ... in the interest of the other people here who want to talk boxing, I am done with you for today, so you can have your way now.Leave a comment:
