How's that? Seems reasonable to me.
If JAB5239 didn't have moderators' privileges, I could put him on ignore and block him from trolling in the threads I make and keep him from spamming my profile page. Then I'd be happy.
I imagine he will eventually have his mod status revoked, or even get banned. Anorek was a mod of one of the forums and got banned for bad behavior.

I'd settle for being able to put him on ignore. I never even heard of this clown until Wlad beat Haye -- since then he's been on a rampage against anyone who is a Klitschko fan.
I've never had a running beef with any other poster here, unlike our friend JAB.Last edited by ChopperRead; 08-04-2011, 12:47 PM.

He's got it great because as a moderator he can't be put on ignore.

- he's more athletic than Wach
- he's coming off a KO win over a then-ranked contender
- his promoter Universum would be willing to make the fight, and has no problems negotiating with K-2 (remember the Klitschko-Chagaev fight was easily made).
Dimitrenko should cancel his fight with Spott and fight Wlad instead, if it's possible.
Unless Valuev is ready for a surprise comeback, I agree Dimitrenko is the best option and there is no reason he can't cancel the Sprott fight to take on Wlad.
We'll know by Friday, if Wach gets the offer or not.

Originally posted by edgarg View PostYes I understand all these points. But Adamek at least has some solid achievements on the World Title stage rather than a just won, meaningless regional title. And he is not known for power at heavyweight, where weight alone can soak up punching power. This guy is basically a beginner who has fought nobody. Agreed that whether they fought in the US or in Poland they would pack the house, and other champions have done similiar things, but it could be at the risk of a huge backlash in public opinion after the completely one-sided fight. Klitschko would have to "carry" the guy and this would be noticed.
Yes, it's true that this is likely a once-in-a-lifetime offer for Wach and I can see their reasoning in jumping to grab it. But I cannot see that Klitschko has anything to gain...except money.
The only thing for Klitschko do is to very publicly search for an opponent, Only then, could a fight with Wach be a logical outcome.
I recall the huge outcry when Floyd Patterson arranged to fight Pete Radmacher the Olympic Champ, who would be in his first pro fight. That stigma never really went away. Just like the recent smelly Haye performance will never leave Haye.
Maybe Dimitrenko, not sure. I know they want someone closer to Wlad's size this time -- that is a big consideration. They are tired of hearing about Wlad only winning because he's bigger than his opponents (not true and he has fought others his size, but this is the casual fan's perception).
So unless Valuev is going to be a surprise candidate, I guess it's Dimitrenko or Wach.
