Mariusz Wach Awaits Wladimir Klitschko Title Offer
The promoters of undefeated heavyweight contender Mariusz Wach of North Bergen, NJ by way of Krakow, Poland are awaiting a proposal from the team of WBA/IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko for a November clash. The proposal is expected to arrive tomorrow afternoon.
Wach, who is promoted by Global Boxing Promotions and Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment and Sports, would be next in line if negotiations between Klitschko’s promoter K2 Boxing and another unnamed party fail to produce a fight.
“[K2 Boxing consultant] Shelly Finkel asked if we were interested in fighting Wladimir in November. I said ‘Yes, we’re interested, send me the proposal,’” said Mariusz Kolodziej, CEO of Global Boxing.
The 31-year-old Wach has a record of 25-0 (13 KO) and is coming off a sensational one-punch KO of Kevin McBride this past weekend at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. Wach annexed the WBC International Heavyweight title and will improve upon his #13 ranking with the WBC with the win.
The 35-year-old Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO) of Kiev, Ukraine is coming off a career- defining victory over David Haye last month and has won ten straight heavyweight championship defenses.
“We are currently fielding offers from various parties,” said Kolodziej. “Obviously Wach wants the chance to become heavyweight champion of the world, but we have to make sure that this is the right deal for us at this time.”

You'll notice this thread was just fine and I was "discussing boxing" until you and your boyfriend arrived.
