Not necessarily, but if Rafael says something incendiary towards Golden Boy and Oscar responds, it will escalate. Bob Arum by contrast is rarely, if ever on his Twitter and isn't going to engage in any back-and-forth Twitter wars.

Golden Boy didn't strip Bradley, the WBC did. Bradley being stripped is total bull**** IMO but the fact that the WBC is sanctioning Morales vs Matthyse as a title fight isn't Golden Boy's fault, they'd be nuts not to use the fact that it is a title fight as a way to market it. Any opinion to the contrary is absurd, bash the WBC all you want but don't bash Golden Boy for putting together a good fight and promoting it for what it is.

That is unless, GBP did what I think they did, which is lobby the Morales-friendly WBC to make this happen. Think about it, before WBC even stripped Bradley, Morales was already lined up for the shot.

dont deserve a shot at the vacant title.
Six months? Every fighter goes inbetween six months nowadays between fighting. WBC rules say that they have a year before they are stripped. The only reason Bradley was stripped is because they don't like Bradley. They never have. They've always tried to strip him and have. It's ridiculous.

Erik Morales is also Mexican and they favor mexicans. It's ridiculous.

it astounds me when ppl say bradley should be stripped. why? because he refused a fight? that is his right last time i checked. there was u just reason for stipping bradley and then giving a title shot to erik morales.

This is a possibility, but honestly I don't think the WBC needed to be lobbied to strip Bradley and line Morales up, it's obvious that Sulaiman wants Morales to hold that belt, but at leas GBP is giving us Morales vs. Matthyse for that belt instead of trying to pass off Barrios or god forbid Crolla as the opponents. I think Bradley should sue the WBC over this ****, and should probably win, but since we all know that the sanctioning body are corrupt and full of **** and their belts are devalued on a daily basis, at least we have fans get what should be a war between two guys near the top of the division for the strap as fraudulent as it is. I give GBP props for putting on a good fight and a good card and since it's sanctioned as a title fight they may as well promote it as one.

Of course the WBC does all it can, in plain sight, to show its favoritism to Mexican Boxers. Kinda sad though, washed up old Morales is the best they can come up with. Lucas is going to give his worn out, old ass a beat down. Maybe then the WBC will strip him and just give the belt to Morales.
