I noticed that mr cortez was counting so fast! when diego was on the ground. I remember when manny pacquiao fought jmm and was knocked down 3 times in one round and the last knock down mr cortez counted slower and he didnt count till after 4 seconds when he was guiding manny to the corner.

The part that made me laugh is when diego was down while joe cortez was telling jlc to go to the corner he was counting at the same time hahaahah wow!

Joe cortez said he stopped the fight because to many injuries and deaths in boxing.

That wasn't him counting that was the timekeeper counting. The count is supposed to start once the fighter is on the ground that's why the ref always looks at the timekeeper to see where to start.

so that means he ****ed up during the jmm fight. cause he was telling manny to move back before he started counting. I saw this happend during the bobby pacquiao vs carlos navarro fight the referree didnt count till like 12 seconds when navarroo was saying count me out! that **** was hilarious I bet you the ref had some money on that fight.

For entertainment's sake, let's say Cortez DID count too fast, Corrales would have needed another "mouthpiece incident" to have enough time to recover, he couldnt even stand straight up when he did stand up at the count of ten.

I still think it was premature you could see all the peoples faces in the audience they know diego is most dangerous when he is hurt. I still think he should have stopped it only if chico got knocked down again.
