First it was Anthony Crolla, then Jorge Barrios, but now it appears that hard-hitter Lucas Matthysse will face Erik Morales on Saturday September 17th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, on the undercard of the clash between Floyd Mayweather and Victor Ortiz. According to overseas reports, Barrios is having issues with his legal documents to leave the country and won't be able to make the fight with Morales. His countryman, Matthysse, has stepped in to take his place. The vacant WBC 140-pound title will be at stake.

I was pretty angry when the Maidana fight was first announced.

I think that this will be a much more difficult fight for El Terrible', even if Maidana could beat Matthyse.
