In your opinion, who is the more gifted fighter?
5 fights is not enough of a sample to make the statement you made IMO. When you look at what a young floyd did to HOF fighters like Genaro and JLC, its really hard to put Nonito there just yet.

JLC, is that Castillo, thats not very impressive.

Hernandez was well past his best too.

Floyd is not as fluid or dynamic or explosive as Donaire.

Floyd is more of a tactical fighter, Donaire far more gifted with natural talents.

Donaire also works out his opponents much quicker than Floyd, you can see how he can adapt in a round, exceptionally fast learner in the ring.

Nonito DOnaire is a very talented and gifted fighter. To put him in floyd class, especially using the sample the thread starter did, simply isn''t valid.

That floyd made you conclude two HOF lineal champions who made mutiple successful defenses of their titles were not at their best (Genaro was old bust JLC, wow) when fighting floyd indicates Nonito has not yet reached his level.

donaire is the hardest hitting bantamweight i've ever seen

i'm on the record with that all over the place

but floyd's one of the most talented defensive fighters i've ever seen
his reflexes and timing and vision is superhuman

i'd say they are apples and oranges

Floyd had power at the lower weights. Very good power.
