It's not a bad argument, we shall see as the competition becomes more intensive, But because of Mayweather ring IQ I cannot totally agree at the moment.

No, i think Floyd is the most "gifted" out of all fighters active today except for Roy Jones jr.

You should also take into consideration ring IQ. That is what makes Floyd extra special compared to if he just had speed and quickness.

I wish Floyd still moved as much as he used to. I hate to think that it is because he is older, but that's probably the truth.

No way, Donaire is quite not there yet in my opinion.

Floyd has lost a little speed moving up through the weights but I would say at their respective peaks the speed is equal. Floyd has also obviously lost a bit of pop and his finishing instinct, this is probably down to the hand problems though, he just gets the job done and protects the hands, which is a shame because Floyd was a beast at the lower weights.

At the moment Donaire's hand speed is a little quicker, Floyd's foot speed is still better though, Donaire has more power and is a better finisher.

Skills-wise, Floyd is way ahead of Donaire and probably always will be. I might actually say that Donaire is ahead of Pac in the skill dept though.

no one is more talented than floyd..period.
there are fighters that do certain things better but as an all round talent there aint no one in floyds class.

In your opinion, who is the more gifted fighter?
Donaire, destroying his opponents with ease. Taking on the best and making in look easy.

Montiel, Darchinyan, great champions that Donaire destroyed. His performance against Siderenko was phenomenal.

                  Donaire's Check Hook > Mayweather's Check Hook

                  FACT.

I don't think Donaire has ever been caught with anything big, great counterpunching ability.

You get caught by a Floyd counter punch, it is another punch on the compubox records, you get caught by a counter by Donaire, and you are on the canvas.

donaire's check hook and overall counter ability is what swayed me to start this thread.
