Im surprised with the responses. I'd go against the trend and pick Martinez. Taylor gassed in both Hopkins fights and against the likes of Ouma, Spinks and Wright he looked very beatable. 2 of those were fights he was supposed to look good in. Then came his Ko losses to Pavlik, Froch and Abraham.
At his best Taylor was a force but even at his best he was never sensational looking. His best display/result was against Hopkins in a fight that alot of people thought he lost against a man in his 40s who struggled to make weight and jumped up 2 divisions for his next fight.
Martinez is really hitting his form now and matched against that version of Taylor I see Sergios Jab being very effective. I also see him being too quick on his feet and hard for Taylor to corner. Not sure about a dramatic Paul Williams type KO but I would lean towards a points win for Martinez. I think boxing comes a little more naturally to him whereas it looks forced from Taylor.
