who would want to see Martinez vs Pac or Floyd at 154

If either Floyd or Manny fight Martinez it should be at MW for the lineal and the ring belt why would any body want to see this fight at 154?

what would it do for their legacy if they beat 38 year old boxer who killed him self just to make the weight? just makes more excuses to discredit both fighters now if either of them fight Martinez at MW then that would be the equivalent of RJJ moving to HW in terms of legacy imo

If what Floyd says is true about being bigger than Ortiz at fight night, then a fight against Mayweather at 154 would be fair. Martinez would show up at 165 and Mayweather at 162.

what does Martinez have to offer at 154? at least at 160 he is the undisputed number 1 and lineal champ the fight will be for the ring MW title. Most won't give either that much of credit since it's not his best weight and haven't really looked as unstoppable at 154 as he did at 160.

IMO they need to either fight him at MW or don't bother at all

Who says Martinez is a shell of himself at 154? Most people dont even think he's a real MW. He's a small MW. If the fight is at 54 or 60, I have no problem. Also, definitely dont tell me that Pac has to fight him at 160. He doesnt.

I also disagree about Floyd being 162. People think Floyd is big only because he use to be so small. He use to come into the ring at 148 pounds. Thats why he looks big now but he's still not that big. If you watch the Mosley fight real closely, Floyd is very cut & defined but Mosley is still clearly alot thicker.

Not only that but chances are that Floyd & Pac wont have any fight at 54 unless its Cotto who will probably have another L by then so he's out. That means both guys would have to skip straight from 47 to 60. If they do that then great but if they dont want to then there is no complaints about it. Sergio can make 54.

I wouldnt even complain if Floyd beat him at 54 and then took his next fight at 60 against Chavez for a MW title. He dont have to jump straight to 60. Martinez still hasnt moved up to the weight classes that Floyd & Pac has so I dont want to hear no pity party from him about weight. They have to go to 60 to fight him which would be Pac's 10th weight class & Floyd's 6th but Sergio never has to beat the guys at 68 because they are too big? Thats garbage

I agree with everything except the bold. Martinez has never fought or won a title at 168. Both Floyd & Pacman have won title at 154. Martinez has never beaten a cheater at a catchweight for a 168lb title. He's also never accepted a fight with the cashcow there either.

manny started at 106 and was at his best at 120-130

floyd started at 130 and was at his best at that weight

they are both small WW no matter what anyone says

martinez is realistically 3-4 weight classes above them both

then you still agree with me because remember, this was about the TS saying they need to fight him at 60. Trust me, Im not some guy hating on Martinez. I think Pac should fight him and I really think Floyd should but Im just saying that if its at 54 then I wont complain, e****ally if its Pac. I would love for Floyd to fight him at 60 but I could see Floyd fighting him at 54 and Chavez at 60.

Now, I take everything I said back if Martinez tells me he's a zombie at 54 but Ive never heard him say that and he's only like 165 in the ring which is more in line with a 154 fighter than a MW
