    Overlooking

Pavlik is over looking his 1st duty, Cunningham. If Pavlik were the Champ fine, but he's not. To be honest, I don't think he even deserves to fight Bute for a title at this point in his career. He should be fighting someone like Arthur Abraham, Glen Johnson, Sakio Bika, or maybe even Andre Dirrell since he's supposedly back in action. Even Mikkel Kessler would not be a smart fight at this point either.

Pavlik is done career over he is nothing but an abused battered pug with a drinking problem. Trainer is terrible and one good liver punch ends it for the pale pasty tattoed low life drunk.

On the evidence of his last few fights Kellys best days are long behind him and his troubles outside the ring would indicate that fighting Bute right now is a big risk. Yes it would elevate him to a big player at 168 if he won but on the flipside, a loss would likely be physically damaging against a man as capable as Bute.

At the same time its a step up for Bute too. He hasnt done anything amazing so far so the fact is a washed up, blown up, alcohloic middleweight is his biggest challenge yet. It could get interesting if Pavlik turns up focused with a good gameplan. Lets not forget that Andrade effectively knocked out Bute in Canada so Pavlik has a punchers chance atleast.
When did Bute get knocked out in that fight??????? he was out of gas by throwing all those shots at andrade and give alot of credit for andrade taking all those shots but when did bute get knocked out he got up near the 10 count and the bell rang so whats your point?? its not like Bute didnt give him a rematch and he fought very smart in the rematch and KO'd andrade..

He beat the count even tho the count was long. If people use a stop-watch, Bute is up at 7-8 second mark. Showtime/Hbo announcers must have not seen the fight because they act like Bute didn't beat the count when he did.

Emanuel Steward pisses me off each time he has brought up the Bute/Andrade fight talking like Andrade was robbed of a knockout win. It's like some of these announcers didn't even watch the fight and just listen to whiney biased fans.

Some of the showtime announcers also talk like Steward.

Don't be surprised if pavlik doesn't fight this weekend. Word out of Youngstown is that pavlik is all screwed up and a mess. watch what happens to Pavlik as he implodes and quits.

Such a shame, hope he sorts his life out, whether he comes back to boxing or not.
