Fighters Who Hurt Ali More Than Sanders Hurt Vitali

I see a lot of people who bring up the Sanders fight as some kind of way of bashing Vitali, which is pretty hilarious. Vitali walked into a power punchers best shot, a mistake I admit, and didnt even get knocked down, wasn't even hurt, heck the most devastating shot came when Sanders pushed Vitali against the ropes, then hit him in the chin with a forearm, and Vitali still didnt go down, then when Sanders shoved him to the ground Vitali got up within 1/4th of a second and adjusted his belt and was fine. So, I thought id list fighters who hurt Ali worse than Sanders hurt Vitali and had Ali in much more trouble and were dominated much less.

    1. Duke Sabedong
    2. Alonzo Johnson
    3. Alex Miteff who landed almost 50% of his power punches against Ali
    4. Sonny Banks this 194 lber knocked Ali down
    5. Doug Jones who many said beat Ali, rematch was ducked blatantly
    6. Henry cooper, this 185lber knocked Ali unconcious, Ali cheated to win
    7. Karl Mildenberger
    8. George Chuvalo
    9. Oscar Bonavena
    10. Joe Frazier 3x
    11. Mac Foster
    12. Joe Bugner
    13. Ken Norton 3x
    14. George Foreman
    15. Chuck Wepner
    16. Ron Lyle
    17. jimmy young
    18. Alfredo Evangelista
    19. Earnie Shavers
    20. Leon Spinks 2x who in the "golden age" got a title shot with 6 wins
    21. Larry Holmes
    22. Trevor Berbick

I probably left quite a few off but these are the no brainers in terms of figthers Ali was much less dominant against and had much more extensive injuries or problems with.

                Vitali is a tragic story.

He is an excellent fighter, better than his brother and a lot of ATGs but never really got a chance to prove it. He failed in his only 2 fights against good competition.

In all honesty he should be top ten, but the resume just isnt there.
