Which Fighters Do You Think Need A Better Trainer?

There are some talented fighters out there who would definitely benefit from having a more proven, higher profile trainer in their corner.

In your opinion, what fighter and with whom training him do you think could take the boxer's career to the next level or repair it?

For example, I think Emanuel Steward would be perfect for retooling Paul Williams who is yet to receive tutelage from a trainer of the upper echelon.

The first name that comes to my mind is Andre Berto.

      Williams is done.

      Steward can't save him.

        100% right!

What has he done, really? What has he done?

Laying on the ropes vs Ortiz was one of the lamest strategies this year.

Povetkin needs a better trainer. He has regressed ever since he hooked up with that idiotic lunatic Teddy Atlas.

Freddie Roach would be a good trainer for Povetkin.

Anyone trained by Buddy Mcgirt. That guy is a horrible trainer. Berto needs a new trainer also. During the Ortiz fight he had like four people talking at once in the corner. Sweat Pea looked good, he needs a better fighter.

First two to come to mind are Paul Williams and Kelly Pavlik. Steward would be good for both being an offensive trainer and loving the jab.

Paul Williams. Peterson did absolutely nothing to fix his vulnerability. I'm surprised it took so long for him to get hit like that. I pointed this problem out several years ago. Peterson is a piece of **** for not doing anything to try helping his fighter, though I'm not sure it would matter. Peterson's answer to everything is "exchange with them."
