Casamayor stopped Corrales, and Corrales got the job done in the rematch, but I don't know. Until Saturday, Corrales had never been knocked out. Don't know if he can bounce back from it. Hope so.
which fight do you consider not significant (you didnt specify) The first one where diego wasnt ready to fight after the count of ten so he spit out his mouthpiece to buy extra time ( cheating twice) OR the fight where he outweighed Castillo by atleast 2 lb's when they got in the ring, even though castillo couldnt make wt. by the time of the weigh in?
How anyone can consider one and not both fights significant (as far as a win goes) reeks of bias to me, considering that when it actually mattered (at fight time, not at weigh in time) they both weighed more...diego even more than castillo.

Corrales has been on the canvas against Mayweather, Castillo and Casamayor..all pretty solid fighter wouldnt you agree?

Judah for 1, has not fought anywhere near the competition as Chico and 2, he has been down by featherfisted spinks, Jan Bergman, obviously my personal fav against KT, Demarcus Corely...hmmm am I missing any?

Judah's opposition is not in Chico''s league and there is absolutely no debating that.

Cant wait to see what Zab says to a rematch with Zoo. He will get a chance to see that his chin is better than people think, that is if he is interested in avenging a humiliating defeat.

I got Castillo, how about you? Remember you have a gun to your head!
I still take corralles, because I believe that with his power, if he was to box castillo, like he did casamayor, he could win by decision or late knockout

            Castillo by stoppage or KO.

Castillo changed his plan second time around, he made distance between him and chico and he popped him with every punch in the book, jabs, straight rights, hooks.

as Jabs said Corrales always gets the punchers chance.

I agree mic yet I dont see why He is a tall lanky guy with an amazing amount of power for his div. but a technician he is not. Even if I was his biggest fan I could easily admit that. All fighters have some limitations, so theres not necessairly anything wrong with not being a BOXER, per sey. Especially when the power and the long reach are there in place of being slick.

I honestly think Chico would not beat any good (and definently any great) fighters ever again.

I think the 1st fight took a lot out of him, but he recovered great. But this 2nd one i think his soul was taken away from him. Just like Vargas was taken away by Oscar's left hook. That punch from Castillo still gives me chills.

Oh!!!!! By the way did ya see how Corrales was talking to himself when he was in the ground????? I told my dad "look that guy is dead forever, hes talking to a ghost in the middle of the ring"

And then when he went to his corner he was asking "what happened, what happened" and some guy told him he was knocked out

Bingo! Corrales has never been a true boxer...this myth should have been put to bed already.
