Hatton had the British bulldog attitude and with him being more in touch with lower to middle class people playing darts etc he was a people's champ and his popularity extended him in the sport.
      My thoughts exactly. Good post.

        yes, hatton couldn't box

he ran in head first (with no head movement)

took a thousand punches in every fight

and tried to work over the other guy

he threw a couple of good punches but he wasnt a ATG

khan has the potential to be an ATG

        keyword- "potential"

hatton's chin was a million times better than khan's though

khan has no head movement either. these two fight a very different style but that doesn't necessarily mean one has more "skill" over the other. besides the handspeed and the ridiculous size advantage over his opponents, what makes him better? better footwork? ok, maybe. what else?

And it's hilarious his hero is the dunce Maidana, who literally has mediocre skills, and is utterly one dimensional. But some people are too dumb to understand IRONY.

Why bother with a dumb ass like Body Movin? Is arguing with a ******ed child really worth our time?

come on man, a bit of sense is all that is needed. Hatton was at his peak best at 140, thats with a horrible diet and drinking between fights, its fair to say he was perhaps even a blown up lightweight due to his poor diet

Hatton fought at 147 before floyd and looked decent at best, he could not fill the weight earlier. Looking at hattons body, size and weight it was clear for all to see Hatton was a 140 max fighter

with Khan, he is definitely a pure boxer, does not rely on holding guys after hitting, fights behind the jab, use great movement to get in and out while throwing off his shots. On top of that khans reflexes are sensational, he can adjust when others come in to counter them

Khan also is huge at 140, he is not in his peak and is still growing, he clearly has been held back by roach and ariza in terms of his body weight to keep him at 140, its clear for all to see khan would get even better at 147, I personally think the guy will eventually be a 154 fighter once he fills out properly

khans body size tells it all in these cases

Hatton was undefeated for 11 years before fighting Mayweather. The media hyped Hatton up to be this killer that Floyd was scared to face. I see the same momentum building for Khan through the media.

This seems like De Ja Vu all over again.
Hatton did nothing to match Floyd in terms of size (Weight doesn't mean as much as reach or height to me)

Hatton was a lot slower than Floyd.

Hatton has a style that you can do well if you are much bigger than your opponent. Thus why Hatton was so terrible VS Collazo.

Hatton simply did not even keep his guard up.

Khan doesn't really do anything better than Floyd, but he is going to be a better fighter VS Floyd based on the fact that Khan can at least pose some speed issues and match Floyd in height nd reach, give or take.

Well said. And yea, they're very different from each other. Comparing the two as similar is a strange thing to do.

And no one is hyping Khan to be a Floyd killer, thats preposterous.

Yup exactly, what I do believe is that khan has a decent chance to beat floyd? would he do it, I don't think he will but I think bar pacman he has a better chance than the rest due to his speed, size and jab
