He has practically cleaned up the 140 pound division and is now the money man. He fought Salita, because he was a mandatory challenger. Peterson turned the fight down in April, so instead Khan fought against McCloskey.

If Khan moves upto 147, his chin will improve, and so will his power. He is tall and rangy and so should bed in well within the division. Roach believes he will improve by moving up.

Also don't forget he is still only 24 years old, so has a lot still to learn, and probably wont peak until he is 27-28

I disagree, all this moving up to improve your chin bollocks does not work. You can't put muscles on your chin, sure a thicker neck may help absorb a shot better but just no. He goes to 147 he is against bigger, better, harder hitting, sharper opponents IMO and will get KTFO! Sure he is young & learning and learning fast, improving a lot but I don't think his chin is the mainly problem, it's his footwork. Sure his footwork looks good early on but as he tires he becomes so sloppy and lunges in and once tagged he's like bambi on ice.

I have always said Khans weakness isn't his chin, it's the top of his head, the temple area! His heads too small for his body lol

Andre Ward 27, Brandon Rios 25, Austin Trout 26, Adrian Broner is 22 he's young and hes good so is saul. But none of those fighters with the exception of ward have a resume like khan. and Ward is 3 years older so in 3 years im sure khan's resume will be better.

I seriously see nothing special about him, but he was a good amateur and he seem to be moving along very steadily, I genuinely dont see him beating Bradley,Ortiz but i also didnt see him beating Maidana, there is something about him that just makes him look fragile in the ring whenever i watch him.

Just because a fighter retires at 28, doesn't mean he peaks before that.
