I've never bought into the whole "this era is the weakest ever" stuff, but if Wach gets a title shot based on that fight then I might just change my tune. Course, it wouldn't be the first time an inexperience and relatively untalented fighter fought for a world title, but I hold Wlad to higher standards than that.

Hope McBride is alright. Also hope he never fights again. For his sake.

You talking about someone being out of shape is the ultimate irony.

You make McBride look like Mr. Universe.

Eat a salad, you fat piece of ****.

I daresay Wach is a lot better than a guy like Randall "Tex" Cobb, a punching bag who was one of Larry Holmes' marquee victims.

As I said, Wlad signed to fight Chisora, and after watching him vs Fury, I don't think Wach is a step down from Dereck.

The Klitschkos have really cleaned out the division so these are the kinds of arguments we will be having more and more until they retire, it seems.

He probably isn't. Cobb did put up some good efforts against Norton, Shavers, Dokes, Mercado and Buster Douglas.

I just don't see the point of rushing Wach into a shot against Wlad after a win over Kevin McBride. You can criticize Adamek as a choice of opponent but he did beat Arreola who was in the top 10 at the time.

Wach needs to beat someone good before getting a shot at either Klitschko, he doesn't look good to me at all. He looks very slow like better boxers would have a field-day with him since they can see his punches coming from a mile away.

I think Chambers, Thompson, Haye, Povetkin, Solis(when he gets healthy again which could be awhile) would all destroy and clown Wach. I just don't see anything special in this guy who moves like molasses.

Like I said, if Wach gets a shot it wouldn't be the first time an underserving or untalented challenger got one. But like I also said, I hold Wlad to a higher standard than that. One of the things which makes me respect Wlad, despite not really having any massive wins on his resume, is the fact that his opponents are almost always the best guys around; he maintains a very high standard and has never, to my knowledge, ducked a worthy challenger. Wach is just, how can I put this tactfully, fekkin' awful. His jab is the slowest, most pathetic jab I've seen in many a decade. It would be an embarrassment to put him in the same ring as Wlad. I'd honestly rather see Wlad fight a novice like Price, who at least has some Olympic pedigree behind him and is also a big guy with knockout power.
