Chavez was old, Whitaker, quarteyand sturm all beat DLH, watch them fights before you look on box rec, look at the punch stats in those fights completely one sided and not in DLHs favorComment

It doesn't matter, Larry.
Because everytime someone explains something to you in black and white you ignore it and then ask the same question 2 weeks later.
I must have broken down to you atleast 3 or 4 times now why Hopkins isn't a Top 20 ATG. Yet, you still say to people including myself 'prove me wrong'
So when you ask questions like this it's literally pointless.Comment

The Barrera that Pacquiao killed in the first fight is better than anyone Oscar ever fought. Whitaker and Chavez were not their best when Oscar beat them, in Sweet Pea's case disputably.Comment

Whitker and Chavez were definitely not prime, and the Whitaker win was pretty controversial. I had it a draw.
On the other hand, DLH(in my eyes) deserved a win over prime Trinidad and definitley deserved to beat Mosley in their 154lb rematch, and Mosley was far closer to prime then than he was against Mayweather and Pacquiao.
DLH beat Hernandez(and Gatti) before Mayweather did, and quicker. also his wins over Molina, Ruelas, Gonzalez, Carr, Castellejo, and Campas are worth noting. I thought he legitimately beat Quartey, but thats a very controversial fight.
I think everyone already knows DLH didnt deserve to beat Sturm. He just wasnt a middleweight.
Oscars career is a mess. Its hard to rate him against certain other fighters, because a lot of it depends on how you scored his fights. All in all his controversial fights include Mosley II, Trinidad, Quartey, Whitaker and Sturm. Depending how you look at these fights, his record can be looked at as overrated or pretty awesome.Comment
