yes if he fight slow flat footed mexican, maybe he can..
but khan is different, he has the range, awesome speed, great power, good inside fighting skill. it will be 6 or 8 round tko for khan.

Khan will be the one to subtitute Floyd/manny.

Why do you like Peterson so much? I'm not denying his skill, but he just isn't that damn good. I predict khan would defeat him by a wide margin on the score cards, though Peterson would make it tough. I think Peterson would be his biggest challenge to date after Maidana.

Let's face it - Lamont's ability to work the body is FAR better than Khan has shown thus far, at least from what l have seen from Khan. I have seen every fight Peterson has had as a Pro- and most of them from ringside since I was the Ring Announcer, and l will say this about Lamont.
"If any fighter takes Lamont Peterson for granted, they are making a VERY BIG mistake. Lamont has great vision, and can pick off punches in bunches, he is also a VERY smart fighter, he will set you up for a punch 2 Rounds before he throws it, and the man has skills plus TONS of HEART to go along with it trust me - he isn't going to lay down for anyone including Khan."

If Peterson has success with a jab and then follows to the body, Khan will be in for a VERY long fight indeed. Let's not forget that Barry Hunter (Lamont's Trainer) is one hell of a fight guy in his own right, in fact l would say Peterson has the better corner as well in this one, and that could be a factor in the fight.

It's the Fight Game my friends, and you just never know what will happen until after the bell sounds...
His ability to work the body and ability to outbox khan on the inside would be pivotal in the fight. I think takin the fight to Khans body on the inside is a great game plan.

I don't know I like Peterson to start, but when he fought Bradley it was a thing of beauty to watch him fight and show his heart and grit..Then the Ortiz fight the same thing..Dude is a pretty exciting fighter and always makes for a good fight because he knows how to adjust..

I also would favor Khan but it would not be easy,I would also bet a lil something on Peterson just because he is a live dog and most likely won't be viewed as one..

I think if Khan beat Peterson it would be a lil more impressive..Although Maidana has power his stamina is weak..He tires in fights he does not have a great conditioning..Peterson does..He will push those shakes to the limit..If no Khan fight please let Peterson vs the winner of Maidana RG fight each other...

since when can khan fight on the inside, much less be considered a "great inside fighter"?

I've never seen it! When has he fought well on the inside? In fact, I think that could be a great way to take the fight to him.

Thats kind of why i want to see him vs Bradley.

Unfortunately Tim doesn't seem to know about this or else he would realize hes got a real solid chance at winning.
