I would love to see Serg get a Floyd/Pac fight but the logic there using to not got up is ******ed!! 154 realistically is too big for both Floyd/Pac...Floyd doesn't carry his punch good at 147 and Pac more than likely is going to make him come down to 150-152 so he should look north if he cant get Cotto.
The difference is both Floyd/Pac are still at 147 comfortably with hot 140lb guys looking to come up...Serg is looking south when theres big fights waiting at 168...there's a lot of exciting fights for him up there.

And I find it funny when people on here talk about Martinez picking on guys smaller than him, isn;t Manny fighting Marquez at 147? That fight is a joke. Marquez was a career 126 pounder, Marquez is not even a natural light weight much less a 140 or 147 pounder.
You all must think I am a Manny hater, I am not. I think his run as a fighter has been historic. But I call it how I see it. And what I see is Manny fighting a damaged Margarito, an ancient Mosley, and ancient and out of his weight class Marquez. So, how is it unfair of Martinez calling out Manny when Manny himself is fighting a natural featherweight. You'll probably say well he fought Marquez before, and I';; say yeah he did, years and several weight classes ago.

Money is the determining factor for Manny, Floyd, and Sergio. It's not about weight, or frame, or whatever. It's about money. Why is Marquez fighting Manny at 147? Money. Marquez would fight Manny if the fight was contracted at 200 pounds.

Hes definitely kinda small to be matched with guys @ SMW and others who are LHW who bounced down to SMW. IF he can make 154, and there is fights there, then why wouldnt he do it. He probably sacrifice too much speed going to 168, which is one of his greatest assets.
I understand his goal but if Serg isn't willing to give up his advantages why should Floyd/Pac? Dare to be great goes both ways.

jmm and manny both came from the lower weights, with manny even much much lower. maybe you just choose also not to see that they are very similar in weight and frame. even jmm is taller than manny. fight night, they'd be less than 5lbs apart.

So, how can a normal thinking man thinkg that he;ll be able to compete at 147, if he looked like a shell of the fighter he is at 140. It's really common sense dude.
And if you can't see that or you're that biased towards Manny I CAN'T HELP YOU MY FREIND.
Because Marquez doesn't belong anywhere near 147. I don't care that if on fight night they eigh the same.
