Yes, NBA players are more athletic than NFL players. The speed and agility that top NBA athletes display is unmatched in any other sport imo. There's a difference between athleticism and the degree of difficulty to play a sport. Baseball is much more difficult to play than basketball and football does that mean that baseball players are more athletic than basketball and football players?

      Was my question

A.) Being able to "play"(fight) at a high level

      or

B.) Name some more [fighters their mid-thirties but they are in their primes.]

      ???
"Somebody" retorted to your question about who fights at a high level in their late thirties.

Are you really nitpicking that i instead of quoting the previous post made by you, quoted the latter but made the distinction i was answering your original question?

Wow you really must be out of arguments.

And for what It's worth, i humored you with a reply on mid30s fighters in their prime. So drop it.

If anything, what you posted doesn't even help your stance considering Glen Davis stuck with basketball and Antonio Gates stuck with Football as they both were multi-sport athletes respectively.

Julius Peppers could hoop. McNabb even played at 'cuse. Primetime played baseball, as did Bo Jackson.

Good points but NFL players are stronger and faster than NBA players generally, I'm not saying they are more athletic though because NFL players focus more on strength. Lebron and Dwight are among the best athletes in the world, but my point is it's a bit debatable because the NFL has great athletes too.

Funny how you humored me with fighters in their prime after, Someone, clearly stated two fighters he believed are in their prime... not "fights at a high level in their late thirties." Clearly, you like to make up what you believe is being said in post... because we're all ninjas that speak in code and not what's actually being posted.

So now you're trying to say your response to a question not posed to you was a shoddy attempt at humor...? Uh, good one.

No, actually my attempt to humor you were made in a later post. Keep up.
You are still nitpicking irrelevant points as i answered a QUESTION you had made, and clearly stated it was that question i answered.
I also answered your second question as it was asked to someone88.

If you can't refute my points, at least don't sink to this level. This is bordering on ******ation, please quit it. It's completely irrelevant.

as for the topic. Gymnastics should probably at least be mentioned.

Not sure this video is the best showcase, but it was the best i could find during my 1 minute spent on youtube.

Eh McNabb rode the bench at Syracuse, but that's just me nitpicking. Good point though

What does this have to do with being athletic? I'm saying this in a general sense. When I think athletic I think speed, agility, quickness, lateral quickness, foot speed, jumping ability, etc. This is the criteria that makes one athletic imo. Do all NBA or even NFL athletes have these attributes, of course not. But imo NBA players generally display these qualities more than athletes in other sports.

Simple question. Nobody is talking about fighting at a high level. It simply means what it says and says what it means. No need to jump through mental hoops and find deeper meaning in this... at all.

                      Just from the currently active ones, theres for example;

Wladimir, Vitali, Tarver, Hopkins, Glen Johnson, Marquez, Mosley if you wanna call what hes doing high level, k9 just won a strap.. i dont know, is tua considered high level?

I'm sure theres a bunch more. If you accept mid thirties theres obviously an absurd amount of fighters matching the criteria.
