It seemed Ortiz had more anger directed at Max than he did for anything Floyd said. I felt like Ortiz had to catch himself because he kind of likes Floyd. Thats why he caught himself and got serious and Max questioned him about it. He generally seemed to have an axe to grind with Max though. I think Vic knows he has to go in there and fight his a$$ off to try to beat Floyd but he can't help the fact that he generally likes Floyd. I was at the NY presser and I found it interesting that Vic jumped in a Picture Floyd was taking with his kids. He jumped in like he was a part of the family lol. I like Victor a lot and I think he stuck trying to figure out how he should act vs how people feel he should act. Either way it was a decent face off. It was different feel than the others. Not the best not the worst.
Max Kellermen's presence fueled Ortiz

That's harsh and not true... Juan Diaz, Orlando Canizales, Michael Carbajal,Danny Red Lopez, Gabby Canizales, Bobby Chacon, David Diaz, Robert Garcia, Brandon Rios, Genero Hernandez, Jesse Leija, Fernando Vargas....
I could go on and on, your way off and don't know what your talking about. There's been many Mexican/American warriors in the history of boxing.Comment

The loss took a huge emotional toll on Vic and its clear as day. He went from being the next De La Hoya to being a fighter with no heart in the media. Plus I think his upbringing makes him unsure of himself as well. He still has time to figure things out. He will suffer a setback against Floyd though.Comment

Ortiz will never forget how Max absolutely buried him after the Maidana fight. He genuinely wants to beat his ass.Comment

I dont think he is mentally destroyed. I do think Floyd will school him but I have a feeling Vic will go balls to the wall and not care. He definitely wanted Max to know that he heard everything he said though.Comment
