If Floyd said this to me, then the next thing I would say to him is "Why didn't you take the fight?" And if any ***** responds with "He hasn't agreed to 'the test'?", then get your head out of your a$$.

Wtf happened? Whether it's true or not, I dunno, none of us do, Floyd talks so much, he changes subject without even noticing (I assume)...for all we know he was about to give more detail and then forgot...****, I dunno???

If Pacquiao's people (whomever he/she/they may be) actually attempted to negotiate with Floyd, why not hear them out? I'm not talking contractual agreements like we're ready to sign, but more like verbal agreements for testing and purse split (such talks could've gone a long way), unless Floyd, "wasn't thinking about boxing" at the time, there really shouldn't be any other reason...maybe I'm wrong, Floyd's statement was a little inconclusive, but it appears like Floyd wasn't even trying to hear them out...again, very inconclusive, but I'm more disappointed in the incompetent "reporters" surrounding Floyd for letting such words fall on deaf ears (there were several times in that interview where they could've said something whether to inquire further, or just put him in the hot seat, like during that ridiculous Klitschko comparison, smh).
lmao i was thinking the samething

why didn't the reporters respond to that statement?

        that was dumb

It isn't common for Floyd to make these kind of statements. I believe this is true. Especially with the turmoil in Pac's camp right now.

I don't know if it was somebody who isn't authorized to deal, or if they did it without Manny's approval. Possible.

Notice that Bob Arum hasn't denied it. In fact, notice how quiet Bob has been since the Pacquiao financial troubles.

IS MANNY ABOUT TO LEAVE BOB ARUM?
Bob is a very bitter old man who has cost Manny a lot of stuff.Manny wants to fight and Floyd wants to fight but remember Floyd always said Manny's not his own man.

            Link however

??? doesn't sound to me like he would have a problem with Arum out of the way, seems like he was just point out he difficult Bob Arum is (if anybody knows how Arum works it is Mayweather, he did use to work with him), that his own fighters are trying to make moves behind his back (IF that is true)

One of the things U.S. promoters can learn from Bute is that a fighter needs to be built up in a single town, prefereably a big town, do develop a solid fan base that will translate into larger regional, then national support.

Look at the way a guy like Berto is moved from place to place, a few fans here, a few fans there, nothing special, nothing that warrants the paydays he's getting. Bradley is another guy like Berto- no roots, no fan base.

And not only is Bute big in Montreal, Quebec, and other places in Canada- he also has a national following in Romania. The guy is their number one sports figure bar none. Why would Bute go fight in Vegas and have 7, 000 fans show up like Amir Khan? Getting big in the U.S. is not the benchmark in boxing popularity anymore, but it does help drive the PPVs. In other words, to be a successful boxer in America you have to be able to get people to spend their money on you. How many American boxers have a loyal fan base doing that for them?

Rios needs to be developed locally as much as possible. Given his style, he'll draw fans like flies to honey.
