    hi fistfest,

    what's up?

well i saw it differently, at least is should have been a draw...a second/third pass at the fight vid had me winning b-pac by a single point...however this fight could have gone the other way easy...but i don't think it was a robbery...

anyway one thing is for sure...it's already in the record books and a win is a win...bobby's hear and courage did it for him and i'm happy for him.

Arum a marked man? Please, they love him. If anything, Carlos Hernandez got the benefit of the doubt. Duane Ford had the same exact score I had. And I gave both even rounds I scored to Hernandez just for good measure. They could've just as easily gone to Bobby Pac.

It is that other judge that had it 97-92 for Hernandez who everyone should be looking at. Hernandez only lost 2 rounds? Yeah right, I definitely don't see how that's possible. Bobby Pac won the first 4 rounds easily.

Janno my bro! How bout cha? I am all good here in the land of San Miguel Beer Oktoberfest and Sisig. Well, I gotta concede it to you in your last statement. Indeed, a win is a win. I'm sure Roach will train him well to be ahead comfortably next time to avoid complications in his next fight. True, it could go either way. It just so happened that there are some people like me who goes to the more accurate fighter just incase both are high output boxers. BUT a win is a win. I'm just lobbying for Famoso to still get some decent fights after this one. The guy's a really nice man I heard.

hi fistfest, sorry to comment, but i think you should read janno's "indepth" review of the fight. he was right (imo), the fight could've gone a draw or bobby winning by 1 point. but that was after reviewing the fight a few times.

the only thing questionable was not famoso losing the game but why is it the scoring of one judge was very far the other two judges.

There's no debating the clearer picture of a fight if it is viewed multiple times. It is the most correct way of reviewing a shooting war. Janno is one poster I warmly respect in this site and I consider a buddy. He's right with that and it showed when you quoted me that I agree with what he posted.

However, I would like to strees to you that the focus of this thread wasn't primarily to post an "in depth" look at the fight but to air the side of the boxing observers who has a tendency to favor the boxer who is "seemingly" more accurate in a heated exchange THE FIRST TIME THEY SEE IT. Both were busy fighters in the bout but there are people who slightly favors the one who tags more and has the more telling punches and makes the other fighter look out of balance at times (like me) THEN, there are people like Janno who keenly looks at the angles and he is also right in his views.

            Think of it this way...
Me and Janno are technically both correct. It could've gone either way but this thread was for people who saw the fight the first and only time. And most of them would probably have Famoso winning. But I bet you'd be surprised at what I'd say if I made a thread that read: "FAMOSO and PACQUIAO: A 3RD LOOK"

you're right. judge scores it "first-hand". no wonder the fight raised a lot of eyebrows. i'm just a little concern why the 2 judge scores it that way then the 3rd one far from the 2 others.

i first saw the interview w/ bobby & manny than the fight itself becoz i woke up at 12 noon and the fight was over. i just saw the hussein-arce fight. manny was absolutely right, bobby has a lot to learn and in my point of view, he was like an amateur fighter that night! i agree w/ you fistfest, carlos i think should be the winner. he got the clean blows (mostly to the body). well, this is debatable but i think carlos deserves to be the winner. it's an ugly fight overall but the first four rounds were exciting.
