Dude. Stop. Canelo is a baby. He needs time to mature in the ring before taking big steps up. If he takes the wrong fight it could potentially end his career (mentally, not physically).

His team is doing a very good job. Gomez is a great selection for this ppv, because people know his name and he is a game fighter with a good chin but not much power.

      Give it time.

would you seriously make that fight right now if you're GBP and lose out on potential hundreds of millions over the next 5 -10 years?
what's with the angulo hype, honestly? he's stopped decent guys who i think alvarez can beat (alcine, julio, and yorgey) but the only real name who pops out on his record is kermit cintron, who outboxed him. people talk about him like he's some unstoppable monster. i'd love to see him vs vanes, i think vanes has the skills cintron had to beat el perro, i'd be happy if angulo actually took the fight. cause i do remember him refusing a 750k payday against martinez.

Cut the guy some slack he is really really young. He needs to fight some second tier fighters to get his name bigger and to learn some more things to help him improve as a fighter. Would you rather have him jump in with an angulo type fighter and wreck his career? I feel if GBP put him in with a world class fighter at the moment then he will end up getting battered and have a similar career to fernando vargas who was rushed along and was shot by his mid to late 20's

I already started to lose interest in him. I'll jump back on board when he steps up in competition.

He's only 21 but people treat him like hes 27 smh. We don't want him to be like Vargas. But how bout him vs Ortiz in 3 or 4 years?? $$$$$

boxing is business, why feed him a lion and risk getting beat when he can fight a cat for almost the same amount of money?
