If he doesnt fight a name fighter...

like; cotto, chavez jr, angulo ect..

the list could go on but my point is that these guys gotta start fighting eachother and not opponents....

Canello has a belt now he sould be fighting real challengers....

they are trearing him like a dude with 10 fights

    but atleast hes active

they are treating him like he's a lot older than he is

        be patient dude
        alfredo angulo would ruin him

would you seriously make that fight right now if you're GBP and lose out on potential hundreds of millions over the next 5 -10 years?

canelo will eventually fight those bigger names after gomez (hopefully). the real question i think is would people lose interest in canelo if he struggles badly against a guy like gomez (even though i think that's unlikely).

If Canelo keeps beating B and C level fighters then we can honestly have to say he is an A level fighter. An A level fighter that is only going to go down against another A level fighter. Question is who is an A level fighter besides Miguel Cotto in the Junior Middleweight? K9 is still questionable. Yea, I like a unification title match between Canelo and K9. Cotto is on the way out. He is cashing out with Top Rank. Top Rank is pitting him against Top Rank fighters like Manny Pacquiao.

no, he's young and has a loyal fanbase that'll tune into watching him fight even a tomato can. he's been fighting okay opposition though, besides j.cotto and m.hatton, he's fought guys who are okay making weight and always faces guys coming off of wins. that said, it's not like the other top guys in his division are fighting each other. cotto fought mayorga, vanes fought saul roman, and who knows if angulo will agree to face vanes after a tuneup. same can be said for pwill and trout. only guy i know of is dzinziruk, who is facing lukas konecny (who probably no one knows but is fairly ranked in the top 20 of the division)
