Of course he did,it was a slave contract..If he won he would have to take the same amount of money and fight in the UK again..The rematch I understand, the UK I understand..But the same amount of money is too far..You mean the winner can't even ask for a 100k more...****!!!!!

Maybe who knows might be a bigger fight...But I guess he did not want to beat Peterson better then Bradley did..I think the Peterson Ortiz fight might have something to do with it..

people say a lot of things. most notably tim bradley.

he had a legit excuse in his promotion troubles and should have ran with that. I don't think thats the whole story though.

Didn't Peterson price himself out once already?

                  WTF?
Peterson was fine with the money and the venue, the problem was if he won he would have to take the same money..Surely anyone can see how wrong that is..

Meh...That was more he said, she said.

Both sides agreed that Peterson was offered 300k. A career high payday. And, by quite a margin.

One side says that negotiations failed because Peterson demanded more than the 300k.

The other side says negotiations failed because of rematch clause notion.

That's he said, she said. So I'm not going to believe one side over the other.

However, a career high payday was offered which both agreed and turned down which both sides agreed.

That's what I go by. Whatever the reason why, is all speculation.

Peterson was in an interview stating this on NSB..Peterson made 300k to fight Bradley and was offered 350k to fight Khan..He would have took it hade that crazy rematch at the same price was not on the table..
