Neither one of them made an offer to eachother. Deal was never made, but of course Floyd is clearly to blame according to the boxing community.

Floyd asked to fight Cotto back when he was at 140, but Cotto's people and arum didn't think he was ready yet. Then once Floyd left Arum, the fight was going to be hard to make. The best oppurtunity for the fight to happen was after Mayweather/hatton and Cotto/Mosley, but Floyd decided to reitre again since he was already technically retired after the Oscar fight

At one point... ALL fighters are "not ready" in the beginning. That said, Cotto has always been willing to fight Mayweather. It was Mayweather who felt he can make foolish statements "Cotto too green" "Cotto lives TOO FAR" and avoid the fights the public wanted to see. Cotto didn't fight any of the killers @ 140 Mayweather, Tszyu, and Hatton.

Miguel gets more passes than a special needs child. If antonio didn't cheat that night, I think Miguel would be treated fairly.

Cotto and Margarito according to Floyd wouldnt be **** 5 yrs from now 4 years ago...

He was right, he was offered 8 mil for Marg and knew Marg wasnt worth a dime same with Cotto minus da offer!

Marg may have beat Money May to hell with plaster had they fought!!
