2008 Cotto would have destroyed 2007 ODLH. Oscar knew it and didn't want to fight him even though the fight would have made lots of money and Top Rank offered it in 2008.

Floyd was P4P #1 in 2008 and instead of fighting his biggest challenge he went to the WWE.

Different styles and Oscar is a natural 154 pounder he is just a bigger guy than Cotto. People who simply neglect this are idiots, people say Cotto is too small for 154 so he obviously isn't going to run people over like he did at 140, he wasn't even doing it at 147 against bigger guys like Mosley, Margarito and Clottey. How is he supposed to do it against guys even bigger than all of them like Mayorga? If he is going to be successful at 154 he is going to have to box but still have the ability to push guys back to respect his power. So lets just stop this crap that Cotto isn't the same because he didn't stemroll a guy bigger than him. The weight and height difference was comparable of that to Manny vs Marg. Cotto weight 160ish on fight night and Mayorga was about 175-180.

Good point... Oscar was NOT interested in getting into the ring with Cotto back when it was offered to him.

Mayweather was in position to pick and choose... NOT Cotto. He elected to take a few years off and come back to fight Lil Marquez with a 20lb Weight advantage.
