Kelly Pavlik is still messed up in the head.

E60 on ESPN did a whole segment on Kelly, the rise and fall of his career. Kelly still says booze did not drive him to where he is now. Any of you guys see it? Even after 2 stints in rehab, he needs more and admit he has a disease.

Pavlik is just one example than Hopkins can ruin fighters.

I'd like to go for a drink with Kelly Pavlik. You know that you'd buy him one drink, then every time you'd get up to leave he'd buy you another drink just so he'd have an excuse to sit there and keep drinking. Cheap night.

He could come back he just has to get out of Youngstown and rid himself of all the people he's surrounded by because as many times you go to rehab if nothing changes around you it's hard to change yourself.

It really takes introspection to see and analyze how the substance has cost you. Until you realize that the stuff has damaged your life and exactly every single thing bad that has come of it, you won't change. A person has to finally develop a hate for it instead of saying they can control it or deal with it. Otherwise, you let it slowly creep back into your life and then the old feelings and habits start to roll in like a black storm cloud fricking upa sunny day.

I doubt drinking is really the problem but whatever keep blaming things on poor harmless old Jack Daniels.
