i like Maidana but dude has stamina issues...it could get ugly if he gasses out late

I don't think Guerrero will be pressing the fight, and Maidana has came on strong late in his last two fights. Against Khan, won the 10th and 11th, though Khan regained his composure and probably took the 12th.

Against Morales I had Maidana behind, but he landed a monster shot at the end of the 10th and pilled on the pressure in the 11th and 12th won those rounds, but only to a draw on my card.

Still 50/50 to me. I think Guerrero may be a better technical boxer, but you can't ignore Maidana's relentlessness and the level of competition he's already fought and how he performed under adversity (i.e. Ortiz and Khan knockdowns). Maidana is a tough SOB, so Guerrero to me has to box and keep Maidana at bay. Easier said than done though. We need more match ups like this.

The Khan KD in their fight was brutal, Maidana was in so much pain, but he ****** it up and got up, a lot of fighters would have been counted out.

Never really hurt by anything Khan threw at his head.

One thing that could play a major part in the fight, is that Guerrero is a southpaw, and if I remember correctly Maidana struggled with Corley.

Maidana overhand right could be taken out of the equation with that stance and some simple footwork.

Only one other fighter I can think of who may have gotten up from that Khan body-shot and thats Bradley. Bradley might not be the greatest fighter ever but he is incredible shape.

I got the Ghost for this fight, i can see him dropping Maidana similar to how Ortiz did.

I used to like Guerrero until he quit against Yordan. But I like the real Warriors like Maidana!

I'm surprised I haven't seen many people mention this fight with it being about a month away. I expect an exciting action fight. I'm kinda 50/50 on picking a winner. I could see how Guerrero could be seen as the better boxer, but Maidana already has been in there with some of the top guys in the sport.

...and it's on HBO!

Can't wait, my boy Guerrero is going to put on a performance. Going to the beach the week before and coming back that Saturday night- great way to cap off the week with an awesome fight.

So true. Id watch maidana fight a bum off the street corner. The guy does nothing except provide exciting fights. He s a monstet in there and he ll fight anyone. The ghost is gonna be in serious trouble, i got maidana by ko.

If you guys want to know the truth on why I don't like Guerrero it's because I'm related to Salido and I know Salido didn't take steroids. I don't think it was funny that he ruined my cousins reputation.
